When an agreement is negotiated overtime, it means that agreement has not yet been reached between Sikt and the publisher. For institutions participating in the agreements, this means that the opportunity to publish openly through the agreement will no longer apply. Reading access appears to be maintained in January.

Three of the journal agreements are still being negotiated: Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley

Sikt has published an information page (only in Norwegian, as the main target group is library staff at the institutions participating in the respective agreement) with questions and answers about what can happen if the agreement is negotiated overtime and is not renewed before a year-end. The information is general and will vary from publisher to publisher and depend on the status of the negotiations.
