More about Open Library of Humanities and diamond open access

OLH is a non-profit organization whose mission is to publish articles that are openly accessible to everyone. OLH has no shareholders and operates with a cost-effective model. The service is non-commercial; based on a "non-profit" model, and all revenues go to cover the costs.

Open Library of Humanities (OLH) offers so-called "diamond" open access. This means that the journal's costs are covered by sources other than subscriptions or publishing fees (APC).

Norwegian research institutions can sign up for membership for an annual fee that covers expenses related to the operation of the journal and infrastructure.

OLH publishes peer-reviewed journal articles under one of the Creative Commons Attribution licenses (chosen by the author), and they will be free to read and reuse. There is no limitation on the number of articles that can be published, and no additional costs beyond the membership fee.
