Association of Computing Machinery (ACM)
This agreement runs from the 1st of January 2022 to the 31st of December 2024.
Participating institutions 2022
ACM’s title list. Will be updated consecutively.
The agreement includes publishing with a corresponding author affiliated with one of the institutions that are part of Sikt's consortium agreement.
There is unlimited open publication in most journals and conference proceedings. Those not owned by ACM (eg. IEEE) are not part of the agreement (but has reading access).
Author authentication is based on email domain, so it is important that authors use an institutional email address.

De Gruyter

Researchers based at UiO, UiB and UiT can publish a number of articles open access in De Gruyter subscription journals, for no extra cost.

Open Library of Humanities
This agreement runs from the 1st of January 2022
Open Library of Humanities (OLH) is a so-called "diamond" open access publisher. This means that the journal's costs are covered by sources other than subscription or publication fee (APC). Norwegian research institutions can subscribe for membership for an annual fee, which covers expenses related to the operation of the journals and infrastructure.

Oxford University Press Journals (OUPJ)
This agreement runs from the 1st of January 2023 to the 31st of December 2024.
The agreement includes unlimited open publication in the publisher's hybrid journals. Corresponding author must be associated with one of the institutions participating in the agreement. The date articles are accepted for publication must be within the agreement period. There is a 15% discount for publishing Gold OA.

Taylor and Francis Hybrid (Open Select)
It is t will be possible for researchers based at participating institutions to publish open access in T&F hybrid journals.

Taylor and Francis Gold
A supplementary agreement with T&F includes publication in the publisher's gold journals. The agreement gives a discount of 10% on the publication fee (APC) and central invoicing to the institution. Articles published in the gold journals has the same workflow as the hybrid journals.

Wiley
This agreement expired on the 1st of January 2023. It is customary for read access to be kept open by the publisher until the end of January whilst negotiations between Sikt and the publisher are ongoing. Reading access is not usually granted beyond January for agreements that have expired. Publishing in Wiley journals has been stopped as of 1 January 2023. Updated information will come when Sikt has an agreement with the publisher.

Agreements offering Green Open Access:
Emerald
Archiving articles (Green Open Access): Please note that the agreement with Emerald is not a publish-and read-agreement, but offers green open access: Authors from participating institutions can deposit articles that have been accepted for publishing in a journal published by Emerald and make it openly available. Please note that this relates to the final version of the article before it is published (Author Accepted Manuscript version).
Immediate open access of final version (Gold Open Access): Authors from participating institutions receive a 10 % discount on standard rate APCs.
