Research institutions are expected to provide research dissemination. Research is international, at the same time dissemination in our own language are expected to provide impact and outreach of research results to the informed public. Norwegian universities and research institutions are encouraged to support Helsinki Initiative on Multilingualism in Scholarly Communication, but what is it and why is it important? Multilingualism is considered a key challenge for Open Science and Research Assessment. Is Open Access in all languages possible?

Program
Get to know the Helsinki Initiative on Multilingualism in Scholarly Communication in a thirty minutes presentation, followed by two short commentaries from a Norwegian university setting and Norwegian scholarly language perspective. Possibility for questions and answers from participants.
