Open Access Week: FAIR, GDPR and qualitative data: Respecting personal data vs respectable research
Webinar: October 21, 2024 10:00-11:30

All research data should be FAIR and as open as possible. However, qualitative research data (including interviews, photographs and videos) often contains personal information and is regulated by privacy legislation. Is FAIR compatible with GDPR? And could both FAIR and GDPR stand in the way for high-quality qualitative research? In this session, support staff and researchers will discuss the challenges when sharing qualitative research in a FAIR and legal way.
